This roofing company exceeded our expectations in every aspect. Our roof was extremely damaged during hurricane Helene. It had some prior damage over the years since DR Horton doesn’t use the best roofing material. We ended up having several leaks and it was a stressful time for us. Working with this company made the stressful process so much easier. Ashley was always a phone call or text away when we had questions or concerns and they truly went to bat for us in order to get our insurance to pay as much as possible. As for the work they had everything completed extremely fast and we were impressed with how efficient the team was. We stayed home during the work and honestly they weren’t as loud as other neighbors crews who had theirs replaced. I was surprised but thankful I could still get the kiddos to nap. They were extremely thorough, took tons of pictures for documentation during the replacement and cleaned up everything completely. We didn’t even find any roofing nails with our metal magnet in the yard after they left which is amazing. So many roofing companies have left nails in our neighborhood and caused plenty flat tires. The payment also was seamless and she allowed us to pay over three payments which made things easier especially around the holidays. I’ve had so many neighbors inquire about them after seeing how efficient the crew was and nice our roof looks completed. We opted for a higher quality replacement than what we previous had and it gives us such peace at mind our shingles wont fly off at the first sign of wind. They were super thorough in repairing any damage from the leaks and making sure things were done correctly. She even came by to do a final walkthrough and make sure we were satisfied with the new roof. One thing is for certain, this company is honest and does great work. They aren’t looking to charge you outrageous prices or make money off of your unlucky circumstance. They are worth every dime spent and I am so thankful we chose to work with them rather than some other local companies who could care less if their work held up after being paid. There is no incentive for me to speak highly on their behalf. I just hate how many families get taken advantage of and I KNOW these guys will have you in safe hands. So thankful for this company! We will be using them for any of our future needs no doubt.

I had the best experience with Southern Custom Construction. Joe Collett explained the process of roof replacement and kept me updated on any issues and problems they found. Found out the wood was damaged and would have to be redecked and they had it done in a day and half. Would recommend them for any roofing or construction needs. Would give them a 10 star.
